It may surprise you to know that the members of Sigma Nu Delta Eta Chapter are very appreciative of the support and involvement the parents have at Sigma Nu.

Your son may be eager to start his new life but he will also be happy to welcome you to Lincoln to share in the excitement of Fraternity Life and his accomplishments as a Sigma Nu.

The Parents Club starts the year off with a Welcome Bar-B-Que a couple weeks after the school year begins.  This is a great opportunity to meet other Sigma Nu parents and see your student after they have had a chance to settle in.  It also gives the Parents' Club a chance to pass on information regarding any upcoming events.

We held our first Dinner/Auction last spring at the Cornhusker Hotel and it was a great success. Plans are currently being made for the 2nd annual Dinner/Auction.

The Parents Club sells Energy Buckets in the fall and spring to be delivered to their sons during dead week.  The guys always look forward to receiving these.

The Parents' Club also hosts a dinner for the men and their dates at the house the night of their Spring Formal.  This has become a very well attended event and it is a fun evening for the Sigma Nu men as well as their parents.

They are looking forward to a Parent/Son spruce up day in the early summer!

Along with all of the activities that the Parents Club provides, the money that the Parents Club raises is also used to enhance the surroundings at the Sigma Nu house.  This past summer the organization purchased a new refrigerator and freezer for the kitchen and totally redecorated the bathroom located in the basement.
